Sometimes, there is no darker place than our own thoughts. If we are constantly battling with our emotions and ignoring feelings we do not want to feel, our growth becomes stagnant. Our suppressed emotions do not simply disappear but create stress because our emotions hold the keys to our personal beliefs. We cannot work on changes, we do not consciously recognize. Change is never easy. Letting go is never easy.
We ask ourselves, if only, we could see the endless string of consequences that results from small actions to make the change that is well needed. It is a fact that familiarity equates with security. It is difficult contemplating new terrain or departing from the familiar. Only in careful awareness and conscious reflection will errors of thought reveal themselves, so we can address them through acceptance.
A pathway to change opens up through awareness and acceptance. When we begin to open ourselves up to a new experience, a new reality the unveiling of ourselves can produce powerful feelings of change.
There is always capacity to expand our perceptivity and degree of awareness and to act in more self and other advantaging ways. You may not see it today or tomorrow, but when you look back in a few years, you are likely to be absolutely perplexed by how every little thing added up.
