We all have a need to know, where we stand with people and situations.
We may move forward cautiously and mindfully in a new relationship, but end up being hurt anyway. Sometimes, we seemingly do all the right things and end up losing anyway.
Sometimes because of our belief in what we are being asked to do, we find and give a bit more effort. We are understandably weary of giving our all to someone. We may feel a sense of trepidation about pursuing a certain matter.
We are aware of numerous efforts; we have invested toward someone and then discover, we need to invest more. We all know exasperation when it rears its head. We see this as unfair. We question what our time, effort or loyalty is giving us. We trust that doing so, will not give us cause to be fearful.
The consequences of our behaviours are intermingled with the consequences of the behaviours of others, who are also exercising their freedoms to choose. In this complex game of life, there are times that rewards we believed, we had coming will be ripped from our grasp.
When we feel uncertain or doubtful, we feel insecure and a need to take action, where we would prefer not to. We fear, we might make a situation worse or more complicated through not leaving it alone. Yet, we make ourselves feel worse by not taking action sooner.
When things do not go our way, there is a tendency to darken our view with a cloud of helplessness. The feeling of helplessness narrows our view. We wallow in this sense of helplessness and let ourselves, slip into a pattern of depression.
We fight our disappointment with destructive revenge towards life, and those we blame for the hurt, or we can act in a constructive way by using the experience, as added wisdom. It is in these choices, we express our freedom. We have the opportunity to regain our sense of power over the direction of our lives. It is about changing your game plan and changing the world around you
You need to know, where you stand with people and situations. You need to make better choices, when it comes to any and all of your relationships. It is in these trying times that we have the opportunity to truly express our human freedom.
