Self-Confidence
It is easy to tell someone to be more confident, but confidence can't always be summoned instantly. It needs a reason, something positive to focus itself on.
Preserve your confidence and stop comparing yourself with others. When you use others
as your measuring stick, you usually come up short. You convince yourself you are not as clever, good looking, talented or successful.
Sometimes focusing too much on what we want and have yet to achieve can make us feel like something is missing, or think we can't be happy until we get whatever it is. Equating yourself with others eats away at your confidence and leaves you feeling inferior.
Start by asking yourself questions about who you are and what you like to do. You need to get to know yourself, evolve and grow. Self-confidence is an attitude. Self-confidence isn’t about becoming something you are not, but about recognizing what you already are.
Have an attitude of gratitude
When it comes to being confident, it is all about being thankful for what you already have.
When you start appreciating the things you already have in life, you are instantly filled with happiness, which will boost your confidence for success. Confidence comes from appreciating yourself with all that you have to offer.
Self- confidence is all about believing in you and having a healthy self-esteem. Not only
will self-confidence help you to become more self-aware, it can also help you reach your greatest potential. Additionally, it affects how others see and perceive you. It great having confidence, but do not be arrogant.
Sometimes, the best way to boost your self-confidence and feel better about yourself is
to try something new. We need new experiences to keep our minds fresh. We need new adventures for personal growth. We need new opportunities to feed the creativity of our souls.
Recognize that through these experiences, you discover new parts of yourself. You might
just reveal strength, courage and resilience you did not know you had. By being out of
your comfort zone, you will be forced to be brave, self-reliant and flexible. The more you
see yourself conquering these new tasks and experiences, the more your confidence will grow.
You need to re-build your confidence. The value that we place on something revolves around what our personal situation is at the time, meaning that no matter where you are,
or what you are facing, the value we place on it depends solely on how badly we need it. Armed with this newfound knowledge, you will feel confident in asserting yourself in new
and more decisive ways and your life will change for the better
Every day, think about the things that make you special like your personality and feel
proud and walk with your head held high. Before you know it, you will be able to add self-confidence to your list of the things that make you, “YOU.”
Remind yourself of these simple truths. You are a unique and special person, exactly as
you are. You’re one-of-a-kind and you are irreplaceable. With convictions such as these, you confidence is impermeable, just as it should be.
