Sometimes you wonder, how your voice can possibly matter, when there are so many voices in the world. But it does matter because your message might be the one that changes everything. You have a voice, use it.

Although it is important of what happens, it is also important that we respond to what happens.
When our best intentions are challenged by unforeseen obstacles, when tend to focus on why life is difficult. If you express negativity often enough, your mind will believe it as truth. The negative thoughts which are without substance are given substances by our validation of them. It becomes a self -fulfilling prophecy and the longer it goes on the more you will be driven by false beliefs. They eventually can grow into an over powering enemy and focusing on the difficulties can strangle our motivation. It leaves us feeling helpless in the face of the unpredicted challenges. You’ll be left feeling powerless and out of control. What you think and say determines your personal power. Everything happens for a reason, good or bad. Frequently reality is obscured to us, hidden by conflicting and confusing events. We all will encounter difficulties which are not of our choosing on a regular basis. We will encounter numerous disappointments by the decisions of people who are in our
lives which will have a negative impact on us. Many of those whom we trust may occasionally behave in ways which will challenge our trust. The people we lean on for support will occasionally let us down and push us to the very edge of what we can endure. Often our first response might be "why me?" We are constantly confronted with difficult choices and left to choose between many different paths without the comfort of a complete understanding of all the facts. We shouldn’t turn a blind eye to the difficulties we encounter nor should we be irresponsible for our personal thoughts, words and actions towards others. We will all make some wrong decisions from time to time. Being sensitive to the long term implications of our choices is essential in taking charge and directing our lives. While I support our freedom to choose, I believe in constructive choices. Many of us have pushed a 'send' button before we intended to. Once pushed, it's too late to do anything about it, no matter how well connected we are in technological circles.
There are also messages or emails that we ought to create and leave for a day or so. When we return to them with a clear and less stressed mind, we see them differently. Avoid succumbing to speaking your mind. Count to ten or step aside. You might end up wishing you'd showed some restraint. Having clear standards and values to which you are committed makes getting through life much easier. With
a foundation like this, you never second-guess yourself. You always know you are doing what you believe in and what is best for you. You are comfortable with who you are and the purpose of your life. The more clearly defined your values and ideals are, the more committed you are to living up to them. Fickleness is the keyword. You really don't know whose fiddle to dance to! One moment you're saying Yes, only to change your mind and say No five minutes later. You make half-hearted promises to everyone.
Obviously you primary goal is to keep your independence in “love” as much as in “friendship” without taking into account what your loved ones actually want. That’s a game that could turn against you and feeling of being abandoned and left to your own devices. There are those who seem to want to run away from their responsibilities. Life is complex. There are many things which influence our lives. Some events and people bring hurts and disappointment into our lives, even when we are doing the right things.
There are things we have power over, and the ones we have no power over may never be completely clear to us. When we do the best we can and still fail, it wears on our resolve and sense of empowerment. Sometimes, no wisdom is to be found. We must look forward and do the best with that which we have been given. Life has too many things that can upset our comforts and plans. It is easy to focus on the immediate and pressing events of our day, and forget the simple and significant
joys of our life that we couldn't live without. Life is confusing enough as it already is. The truth in life is that many of us walk through life not seeing the true beauty the world offers. We walk through with shutters over our eyes and never see the true value we have. When our lives are difficult, we sometimes feel like life will never change. We struggle sometimes with knowing 'when to stop' or are oblivious to knowing when an idea we have nurtured over time is no longer appropriate.
We ignore changes in our circumstances or attitudes, yet we live in hope that an opportunity might arise to help us pursue something 'one day'. This in turn makes it harder for us to take the steps that might create the change we want. When your life is full of ups and downs, remember to keep your eye on your goal, and the desires of your heart. You will get through it. Many people believe there are only leaders and followers in this world and each of us is either one or the other. Obviously, it's not quite as straightforward as that. Each of us is both a leader and follower depending on circumstances at any given time.
