That is what caring is about.
When people we care for are in difficult ways, we often say our heart goes out to them. A person that moves towards those in need is a person filled with compassion, and one that values another.
That is what caring is about.

We learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken.
So much can happen in the space of one day. Given that a 24-hour period we have available is enough to bring about at least one significant change, imagine what can be achieved in the space of a week.
Angels are beautiful human beings who do for others without expecting to get something in return.
There are angels everywhere in this world. Sometimes you just have to open your eyes to see them. In fact, who knows you could have just passed by one on the street, or they are in a circle of your friends. When we are depressed, overwhelmed or hurting, it's so easy to try to just block out the world and shut ourselves off from everyone and everything. When we do that, we usually shut ourselves off from our faith, hope and believe which can penetrate the darkness that surrounds us.
We can't control all the situations and circumstances that come into our lives, but the one thing we can control is how we will react to the things we encounter. We have a choice to choose life, choose hope and choose to let “faith” be our strength and our comfort. We will find the healing, hope and peace that we seek. Children shouldn’t have to sacrifice, so that you can have the life you want.
You make sacrifices so that children can have the life they deserve. The past is the past. We hear people say, 'move on and embrace the present and future'.
We're good at doing this but there are times when we wish, we could be transported to a time, when things seemed better or preferable. It's worth considering how you're looking at an aspect of your past impractically. Rose-tinted glasses have a tendency to make us do that. Try to understand how a future unfolding now will soon put into perspective, how irrelevant the past really is. We resist what we don't like. We dislike what we don't know. We shy away from the unfamiliar. That's nothing new. Prehistoric Man did the same, so we can hardly be blamed for our attitudes toward 'the unknown'. At some point though, we chose to give the unknown a chance and discovered it was actually nothing to fear. All you need to do is summon courage.
Is there a need to probe further for information? Does need exist to ask an uncomfortable question? If you receive an answer you're dreading receiving, will you be in a stronger and more knowledgeable position?
Where a confusing scenario is concerned, consider how you might react to it if your confidence levels were higher. Where a baffling development is concerned, consider how you could resolve it if you were willing to summon courage required to face an uncomfortable fact. Everyone needs a time-out. Your mind and soul need quiet time as well. Many of us forget to take time to rejuvenate ourselves and to give ourselves a break from the daily grind.
It is imperative that we take small breaks in life, whether it is half an hour a day or weeks at a time. When we put the care of our mind, body and soul as a first priority, we have the chance to become stronger and more efficient, when it comes to taking care of daily tasks and the ones we love. Remember to recharge and renew yourself. |
