How important is a particular change you'd like to see?
Perhaps, a clue lies with the word 'like'. 'Liking' something isn't the same as having a
burning desire for it. But then again, everyone's passion levels differ. The point is; how
badly you genuinely want a particular development to happen, or ambition comes to
fruition. For this to happen, you're going to have do more than simply 'like' or even
'want' it.
When we're frustrated with a situation, we want to change, we sometimes believe
significant and noticeable change is required. We even consider drastic action to
achieve this. We convince ourselves that, if something must change, then we want to
see clear evidence of it doing so, nothing small or seemingly insignificant will do. You
don't need to resort to anywhere near the level of drastic action you might be considering
to bring about, what you need to change.
We all reserve the right to be fickle. Our minds change constantly and we're
usually aware of this. We become aware of a change in circumstances and needs
and adjust our needs and expectations accordingly. We have in our mind, valid
reasons to adjust our needs and expectations in a particular area. We have an
accurate grasp of a situation, but we need to be realistic about it.
When change is slow, it may cause you to reassess certain beliefs and attitudes; you
have clung to for some time. Sometimes, change happens so slowly, you almost
fail to see it. The sort of change that happens slowly not only tends to be change you
can adjust to more easily, it also tends to be positive and far-reaching. Allow these to change with your new circumstances.
